Don't worry about the alcohol - I'm getting my fair share. Although I do struggle to find time sometimes.

Hey guys, good to hear from you, I thought I may have missed a couple of updates as I have been having severe problems with my computer (it appears that kicking the damn thing off the table only adds to existing problems!)

There is a nasty rumour in these ere parts that you have forsaken a life as one of the country's (well Codsall's anyway) most promising solicitors to become a professional 'weeder'!!!

This disturbing revelation is a constant concern for all flower lovers in the Midlands as they are all too fully aware you did not know a geranium from your arse before you left these shores.

The thought of you yanking up New Zealand's beautiful plant life which has taken thousands of years to cultivate has led to a deputy, led by Titchmarsh, dropping everything to catch the next flight to Wellington.

Please dissist from any further 'weeding', it will be extremely unhealthy for New Zealand's green and pleasant pastures and anyway, you're supposed to be conserving not destroying.

PS: Was relieved (as were the population of Wellington) to hear you were at a nature reserve, not as one of the grandparents thought: a Naturist one

PPS: If you wanted to learn about weeds why didn't you just head to Loggerheads?

I am really really worried that you two are becoming far too active and healthy - trekking, skiing, rowing, biking - what the hell is going on!!!! I'll just have to make sure that when you come over to Melbourne that we have a weekend of good old Pommie debauchery (I can pretend!)

Hi Guys!

Well look at you skiing and not a broken leg in sight! Aren't you the fancy pants! I think you look like your being for to energetic over there, making me tired just reading it... as I sit here with a good book and a bag of minstrels... ho hum!

For some reason I am having visions of Christie at work in some kind of 1950's cinema complex with a little round hat and snazzy uniform sitting in a little kiosk... I'm sure all much more advanced than that!

All looks fab, and particularly like the van!

What next? Tobbogganing?

The fun continues it appears. Fear not about the cold climate you find yourselves in - you have only missed about 48 hours of British sun so far!!
Hey, glad you've found yourself a job Christie, that will put pay to your rock pool mooching days!
It has been dreadful here with the bombs in London, there was also a scare in B'ham last night, they evacuated half of Brum - so I think you guys are in the best place.

Well praise the lord it's lovely and sunny in London today otherwise I'd have been very depressed reading that! Looks as though you're having an amazing time. Shame no Petal on horse photies :( but how about a homestyle Christie with freshly baked fruit-loaf shot?
